Anna
Starr Foundation
Our precious little daughter Anna Starr suffered from the most serious
type of epilepsy. We were offered very little hope by many medical
doctors. Through our interventions, care, and medical attention she
achieved a level of functioning that far surpassed anyone’s
expectations. We are compelled to bring these treatments to peoples
attention, so their children can shine as our Anna did.
Develop alternative and complementary treatment strategies for children with neurological disorders in order to improve the quality of life of these children and their families.
Achieve greater awareness and acceptance of alternative treatments in
the general medical community.
Facilitate collegial relationships between medical and alternative
treatment providers as well as provide funding for continuing research.
Educate parents and the medical community about alternative treatment.
Identify the most effective treatments for neurological disorders
through research and methodical scientific investigation.
Children from 0-6 years old with epilepsy, pervasive developmental
disorders, and/or heavy metal toxicity.
1)
If addressed
early with diet, nutritional supplementation, and alternative treatment,
and medication; children with severe neurological conditions can
significantly improve their quality of life.
2)
There is a
great need to determine which treatments work for a specific individual
child.
3)
Clinicians and
parents should become aware of the multitude of research based treatment
options available for their child.
